Induction pipes, fittings for; cylinders, cleaning.- An extra air admission device comprises a flanged nipple 10 secured to the dashboard 7 and connected by a pipe 20 to the induction pipe, the nipple being provided with an adjustable cap 11 provided with grooves 13, to which air is admitted between the cap and the flange 8. The cap 11 or the flange 8 is provided with a washer 16 to seal the air inlet when the cap is screwed down. When used on an engine having a vacuum fuel feed device, the pipe 20 and the suction pipe of the fuel feed device are each secured to the limb of a T-piece, the third limb of which is connected to the induction pipe. The device may be used to supply a mixture of equal parts of kerosene and water to the cylinder for decarbonizing, by detaching the cap 11 and inserting one end of a rubber tube into the bore of the nipple 10, the other end of the tube dipping into a vessel containing the liquid.
