Abstract

335,482. Sulzer FrÞres Soc. Anon. March. 18, 1929, [Convention date]. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-Cooling-medium is conveyed to and from a fuel injection device through annular chambers 20, 21 arranged one within the other, and surrounding the fueldelivery pipe 11 of the nozzle 4, the chambers communicating with each other near the nozzle, and the cooling-medium being sharply deflected at 27, 28 to pass over the nozzle surface with increased speed. The chambers, are formed by a tube 25 coaxial with the fueldelivery pipe 11 and screwed on the cover 12, which is secured to the casing 2 by studs 13, 14, which, when removed, enable the cover, fuel-delivery pipe, and nozzle to be withdrawn so as to facilitate cleaning.
