Abstract
271,858. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. May 31, 1926, [Convention date]. Powdered-fuel engines. - The fuel is injected. e.g. by means of a device as described in Specification 266,381, through an inlet 1 into a combustion chamber 3 provided with a scavenging valve 4 through which ash is ejected. The valve 4 may be arranged to mechanically loosen ash incrusted on the wall of the chamber 3, or other mechanical loosening devices or blowing means may be provided for this purpose.
