Abstract

251,167. Urmston, R. March 19, 1925. Siphon bottles.-The head 2 is screwed on to the neck 3a of the container, packing 6 being provided which supports a hollow member 5 secured to the siphon tube 4. The valve 7 is secured to a. rod 8 provided with an actuating knob 9 having a rib f engaging a groove in the head to prevent rotation. The rod 8 passes through packing washers 11 and is urged upwards by a spring 10. The valve 7 is formed with an annular cavity to receive a packing ring b engaging an annular flange 2<a> on the head.
