Bodies: hoods.-In road vehicles of the kind provided with grooved guides and flexible windows or screens adapted to slide into the roof, metal channel guides e are employed extending alongside the window opening and across the roof-structure, a gap or opening formed by cutting away the bottom flange of the guide e being left to admit the screen which comprises a sheet f of celluloid or like material mounted in a frame consisting of two flexible side members and two rigid transverse members. The flexible side members consist of strips g of thin steel enclosed in a sheath h of pliable leather &c. which further strips i lie between the strip and the screen material f. The rigid transverse members consist of a channel-shaped metal strip j enclosing a rod k.
