249,960. Curtis, M. S., and Chilrite Corporation. Jan. 27, 1925. Movable - abutment type; cooling parts; discharge and suction passages; packing. - A rotary pump employed as the compressor of a refrigerating machine and submerged in a lubricating and sealing liquid comprises meshing gears 34, 35 in a chamber surrounded by an inner jacket 37 for cooling-water and an outer jacket 38 for lubricant. The refrigerant enters through a port 390 and mixed refrigerant and lubricant are discharged through a passage 40 against a curved baffle 41, the refrigerant vapour passing behind the baffle to the condensing-chamber of the apparatus. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 13692/06, 217,178, and 222,572. [all in Class 29, Cooling &c.].
