Compound shect materials.-Roofing, wall linings, and like boards or sheets are formed by applying in a plastic state a felted sheet composed of asbestos fibre and cement or like binder to a metal sheet which is provided on both sides with small tongues formed by stabbing. The felted sheet may consist of 15 to 20 per cent by weight of asbestos fibre and 80 to 85 per cent of hydraulic cement.
