540,326. Compound sheet materials. LEFEBURE, V., DOUGLAS, A. H., ETRIDGE, J. J., and IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. April 8, 1940, No. 6298. Drawings to Specification. [Class 140] A composite board material consisting of two or more layers of plasterboard stuck together preferably by a waterproof adhesive. The adhesive may consist of calcium caseinate, bitumen, coal tar, pitch, rosin, mixtures of drying oils and natural resins, alkaline silicates and cement fondu &c. The edges of the composite board may be strengthened by a strip of paper, or the board may be wrapped in paper. Metal channels, which may be joined by cross-pieces may also be fitted to the edges.
