Abstract

249,032. Klinke, J. Sept. 28, 1925. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Latches, sdiding.-A lever handle h for a latch is locked against rotation by a bar a which fits over the spindle of the latch and carries pivoted hook-shaped portions d and pivoted hooks f. One of the hook-shaped portions d can be swung forwards to engage the end of the handle, and the other lies flat against the bar with a projection c which engages the edge of the door. One hook f engages over the handle, the other being free. The bar has an offset portion b to engage the spindle and is made symmetrical for use on right or left hand doors.
