247,622. Atholl, (J. G. S. Murray) Duke of. Oct. 13, 1924. Folding and collapsable cabinets. - In a folding dresser, sideboard, or like article of the type wherein the sides and top are hinged to the back, the top is hinged to fold upwardly against an extension of the back and has means on its underside to engage the sides. In the form shown in erected position in Fig. 2 and collapsed in Fig. 4. the top c has fillets c<2>, c<3> between which the sides b are held when erected, and runners c<4> for two sliding drawers. The drawers e are hinged to fold outwardly upon the sides, and removable shelves f fitted with slotted metal plates f' are supported within the structure by screws or the like projecting from the sides. In a modification the back extends upwardly to support a number of hinged shelves.
