Abstract

244,909. Lowe, W. E., and Parfitt, W. E. Dec. 17, 1924. Hoods.-Motor-cycle side-cars of the kind in which the rear part is movable to vary the seating capacitv, are provided with hoods which may be adjusted in accordance with the seating capacity. As shown, the hood is carried by a bracket 13 slidable on a rod 14 fixed to the body and is secured at its front end by straps 25 and at the rear to the rear movable part 2 of the side-car by means of a rod 4. A link 19 connects the rear part 2 of the side-car with the bracket 13 so that rearward movement of the rear part 2 moves the hood bodily to the rear as shown in Fig. 2.
