261,347. Soc. Anon. des Anciens Etablissements Alin, Liautard, & Co. Nov. 10, 1925, [Convention date]. Hoods.-Road vehicles are provided with transverse seats, separate hinged doors in the sides of the vehicle for each of the said seats, the doors extending upwardly to the height of the windscreen, and a fixed frame integral with the side of the vehicle and extending around the doors but leaving the part above and behind the rear sea.t and the top of the vehicle open, combined with a hood fixed to the rear of the vehicle and adapted to cover the rear sides, the back, and the open top when drawn forward and to leave them open when collapsed. The hood is provided with pivoted hoop sticks 12, 13 and cross-bars or sticks 15, 16 adapted to support the forward part of the hood on the rigid sides. The front hoop stick 12 is secured to the windscreen, and the hood is attached to the rigid sides by interengaging means of known type comprising a ripping cord. Specification 251,453 is referred to.
