Abstract

244,861. Bristol Pneumatic Tools, Ltd., Slade, L. W., and Roy, J. Oct. 16, 1924. Actuating pumps by hand and foot power; oscillating cylinder pumps.-The piston rod is pinned to the end of a lever H pivoted on a shaft J mounted in the side plates of the frame. The lever is provided with a shaft K carrying at its ends rollers L which are engaged by two curved levers A connected by a footplate P. Pins I on the levers A limit the upward movement of the levers by engaging stops N on the side plates. The rollers are grooved to receive the levers A. The return stroke is effected by coil springs S engaging the shafts K and the side plates.
