Connecting fixed lubricators with moving apparatus.-Oil is supplied from a pipe q to a chamber b in a rotating member a subjected to internal gaseous pressure through a fluid-tight joint comprising a stationary plug h fitting in a two-part socket d, i secured to the member a. The plug h has a conical shoulder l pressed against a conical surface k in the member i by a spring-pressed ball f. The pipe q is connected to a cap o screwed on the plug h and the oil passes into the chamber b through a passage p in the plug. A pipe t connected to the cap o supplies compressed gas through a passage r in the plug to 'an annular groove s formed either in the member i or on the plug, to prevent leakage of oil past the plug. Annular grooves u are also provided on the plug or in the member i. Packing washers c, j, m are fitted as shown.
