244,666. Buchli, J. Feb. 9, 1925, [Convention date]. Water-tube boilers; fireboxes. - A water-tube boiler for locomotives is provided with flat iron bars welded to the tubes to keep them rigid. The tubes 2 3 are of inverted U-shape, and bars 4, parallel to the drum 1 are welded to them. The bars may be provided with bolts or brackets to which insulation 5 and a sheet metal cover 6 may be secured.
