Four-stroke engines. - In a twelve-cylinder engine, the radial cylinders b are arranged in three equally-spaced rows of four cylinders and the crank shaft has four throws in one plane and alternately on opposite sides of the shaft, balance weights being provided at the ends of the shaft or on the end throws on the side opposite such throws as set forth in Specification 208,827. The cylinders of the three rows are inclined at 60‹ or 120‹ to one another.
