Abstract

243,792. White, A. E., (Milk Oil Corporation). Nov. 30, 1923. Butter.-Milk or cream is washed repeatedly and the fat separated from the liquid by passing through a cream separator. The washed cream is frozen and then melted and diluted with preferably about three or four times its volume of water. The mixture is passed through a centrifugal separator to remove the pure butter fat or oil from the water.
