243,381. Dubilier Condenser Co. (1925), Ltd., (Assignees of Nyman, A.). Nov. 21, 1924, [Convention date]. Vacuum tubes. - A thermionic valve or other tube has has a grid-leak resistance and an anode-coupling resistance mounted inside the bulb, the grid-leak resistance being connected with the grid and filament. As shown a coupling resistance 9, consisting of material not subject to changes of heat, is connected between the anode 6 and a ferrule 3 surrounding the neck; a leak resistance 8 of moulded material freed of gas is mounted on the stem 2 and is in contact with the leads 10 of the filament 5 and supports 14 for the grid 16, or the leak resistance may consist of a paste applied to the stem.
