Ordnance design; muzzle-loading.-To secure the projectile 2 of a non-recoil gun against falling out when the barred 1 is inclined downwards, a retaining pin 9 or other suitable device is provided. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a gun, shown in Fig. 2 (Cancelled) in which the recoil is taken by the barrel 4 which slides in bearings 10 and is brought to rest by suitable braking means. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
