Abstract

241,032. Parsons, R. J., and Julien, W. J. Nov. 12, 1924. Hasp locks in which the bolt is operated in both directions by the key, are provided with a plunger which engages the end of the bolt and prevents shooting it till the hasp is engaged. A plunger A pressed upwards by a spring D and sliding on a rod C, prevents the bolt B from being shot until the eyes of the hasp have been pressed into the holes a, b. The plunger may be actuated by gravity in locks which are mounted with the holes a, b at the lower part of the casing.
