Abstract

Regulating.-In turbines wherein regulation is effected by adjusting the angularity of the rotor blades by means of a servo-motor arranged within the rotor hub, as described in Specification 193,414, the pressure oil for the differential piston 1, Fig. 1, is admitted through a slidable pipe 2, the lower end 8 of which constitutes a valve controlling a duct 6 in the piston-rod 4. A second duct 5 conveys oil to the lower side of the piston. Other arrangements of the ducts 5, 6 are described; an additional pipe may surround the slidable pipe 2. In a further modification, Fig. 3, the slide-valve is actuated through a solid rod 10 placed within a pipe 11 conveying the pressure oil.
