Illumination, changing advertisements by controlling. - A transparent mirror 4 is fitted to the hinged door 3 of a casing containing lamps 14 illuminated and extinguished at intervals by an automatic circuit-breaker 16. Bekind the mirror 4 is a frame 5 having apertures 6 in which are translucent photographic diapositives 12, seen through the mirror 4 when the lamps 14 are lit. Each photograph is backed by a white glass plate 13 and is held removably in position by nuts 11 on threaded pins 10. Some of the bars 8 separating the apertures 6 may be removable to accommodate a larger photograph. The casing may be lined with mirrors.
