239,334. Spikings, A. R. July 30, 1924. Balusters and hand-rails ; rail and vertical-bar fencing.-A railing &c. structure, more particularly of the type referred to in Specification 229,571, which comprises horizontal and vertical members 17, 9 respectively, is provided with an inclined strut member 4 having a head 6 on its end adapted to be readily introduced into and withdrawn from a hollow protuberance or socket part 1, having a slot 2 in it, on one of the other members 17. The slot 2 comprises a circular portion a and a restricted portion b, the head 6 being insertible through said portion a.
