217,489. Wales, Ltd., and Blackmore, A.. E. Oct. 12, 1923. Joints for bedstead and other furniture frames. A bracket has a web 10 for attachment to the post &c. 9, and a flange 11 is slotted at 15 to receive a stud (or studs) 16 carried by the rail or other member 17, the slot and stud being inclined so that in assemblage the end of the rail &c. 17 is forced against the web 10. To relieve the fixing-screws 13, the bracket may be formed with a stud 14 recessed into the post 9. The slotted portion of the flange 11 is braced by a strap 18.
