Joints.-A modification of the bedstead corner joint described in the parent Specification comprises a gusset plate 5 on the depending flange 4 of the side rail. having an inclined slot 6 and an inclined edge 16, so arranged that when the slot is passed over the stud 3 on the bracket member 1, the fitting is locked or wedged at the stud, and also at the abutting end of the side rail and at the abutting lower part 17 of the gusset plate. The stud may be formed on the gusset plate and the slot in the bracket member.
