Abstract

209,792. Steelgrip Fittings, Ltd., and James, W. H. Clarke-. Sept. 22, 1922. Addition to 160,034. Joints and connections.-A modification of the connecting means described in the parent Specification, for connecting together parts of furniture or of other wooden structures, comprises a bracket on one part x, and a clip on the other part y, the bracket consisting of a plate a with a wedge-shaped tongue a<1> on its back surface, and the clip consisting of a plate b with a tapered slot b<1>, and' distance pieces on the plate to keep the slot in advance of the member y. The distance pieces may consist of flanges d, projections e or a plate f, or the member b may be formed as shown in Fig. 10.
