Price-changing mechanism. - In prepayment gas meters the price-change disc b is locked in adjusted position by a tooth a<4> integral with or secured to a hinged frame a which masks the disc b. The frame is hinged at a' to lugs a<2> on the outer casing, the tooth a<4> working between the lugs a<2> and engaging with one of the notches of the disc b, when the frame is closed down. The frame a is locked in its closed position by a pivoted lever c access to which can be had only when the money-box d is removed.
