Rotary offset machines.-A rotary offset machine in which a web is printed by offset cylinders 3, 4 provided with gaps 7, 8, corresponding to blank portions of intaglio printing-cylinders 1, 2 is constructed so that the web to be printed is fed in and out by rollers 12, rotating at a uniform speed, and during the printing operation the web is advanced by the cylinders 3, 4 at a greater speed. To compensate for the accelerated movement of the web during the printing operation, looping-rollers 20, 33, are provided on either side of the printing position, and these rollers are mounted in arms 14, 31, oscillated by cams 18, 28 on the same shaft 22. As shown the cylinders 3, 4 are in contact with one another, but they may be separated and provided with independent impression.
