Tripping-arrangements. - In a machine for printing intermittent patterns on fabrics, the printing-rollers are moved to and from the impression cylinder by cams on a shaft f which is driven from the shaft of a blank roller k of similar dimensions to the printing-rollers b. the roller k rotating constantly in contact with the impression roller a. The rollers b, k are driven by box wheels from a crown wheel d loose on the shaft of the impression roller a. The shaft of printing-roller b may drive the shaft f by means of sprocket gearing fitted with a spring-pressed tensioning-roller but preferably the shaft f is driven from the shaft of the roller k by means of change-gear wheels m, n, o.
