Printing processes and apparatus. - A fabricprinting machine of the kind in which the fabric is pressed by a plain colour roller b against a relief roller a and receives colour from the roller b at parts corresponding to the raised pattern on the roller a is arranged to print on both sides of the fabric by supplying colour also to the roller a from a colour roller c. The rollers b, c are geared by a chain e so as to rotate in unison, and the roller a is driven from the roller b by a sun- and-planet gear which permits the roller a to be adjusted angularly during the running of the machine in order to register a design being printed with a previously printed design. The roller a is fixed to a gear g, and a freely mounted gear. h engages gear g and a gear i integral with an internally toothed-wheel y free on the shaft of the roller b. The wheel j is driven by a fixed sun-wheel m and freely mounted planetary wheels l carried by a normally stationary worm wheel o, Fig. 4, freely mounted on the shaft k of the colour roller b, and adjustable by a worm q operated by a hand-wheel.
