Abstract

234,680. Kuhn, W. W. J. H. Feb. 27, 1924. Clutches and speed-varying mechanism.-In a hydraulic variable-speed gear comprising sliding vane pumps and motors, the eccentricities of which are simultaneously adjusted, the pump and motor cylinders are rigidly connected together within a common adjustable casing 34, and a reversing valve may be provided. The casing may be moved by pressure liquid supplied from an accumulator charged by the pumps, one accumulator serving to control a plurality of gears. Specification 216,525 is referred to.
