234,372. Yarrow, H. E. Nov. 7, 1924. Flue dust &c., collecting and removing.-A feedwater heater suitable for a Yarrow boiler comprises horizontal tubes H expanded into drums K which may be divided into compartments as shown. The feedwater heater is arranged above the boiler, and is traversed by hot gases from the flues G, which pass to the uptake J. A soot hopper R is arranged below the feedwater heater, and is provided with a rack or screw conveyer S. In a modification, the headers of the feedwater may be of rectangular section.
