Tenders.-A device to facilitate the lowering of lifeboats down the side of a ship having a list comprises a frame 1 shaped to the configuration of the side of the boat and having mounted therein rollers which project from the surface of the support. The device is attached to the side of the boat during lowering operations by engaging the lower forked end 4 with a hook 5 secured to the boat whilst the upper end of the device is secured by a bolt 6 passing through the gunwale.
