233,646. Dehn, F. B., (Neufeldt & Kuhnke). Feb. 8, 1924. Fluid-actuated valves.-In hydraulic automatic regulating apparatus, the slide valve 10, Fig. 1, of a servomotor is acted on by a spring 11 and the pressure of pilot liquid in a chamber 5. The pilot liquid also acts in a chamber 4 on a spring- influenced piston 2, and the pressure of the pilot liquid is determined by the position of a sleeve 14 relative to an outlet aperture 13. In a modified form shown in Fig. 2, the piston 2 slides in the piston 3 and one pilot pressure chamber 4 is provided. In a form shown in Fig. 3, the spring 11 is interposed between the pistons, one pressure chamber 4<1> is provided, and the piston 2 may or may not have a pressure surface 20.
