[Class 135.] A thermostatically actuated valve has a two-part piston closure one part 10 being coupled to the therma element while the other part 9, which is separated from the part 10 by a spring 11, is adjustably secured to the casing to vary the point of cut-off. The part 9 is secured in position by a threaded stem screwed into the casing and fixed by a lock-nut 14.
