231,832. Haas, H. April 1, 1924, [Convention date]. Air, controlling direction of. flow of.-Textile fibres, &c. are dried by being wound upon bobbins arranged in horizontal lines within a drying- chamber so as to form conduits in alignment with openings B - - E in partitions defining heating-spaces H through which air is circulated by fans V. The fibres are thus subjected to the heat of the air passing through the tubes n addition to that of the vertically moving air. The bobbins may be perforate or imperforate.
