Moulds.-Relates to moulds of the kind described in Specification 8633/99, which are adapted for casting elements having line printing- faces 36, Fig. 5. The mould-blade 35, Fig 2, is so formed at its upper edge as to slide within the formative groove in the matrix 31, and the cross-block 30 extends above the formative groove, so that the product is formed with two continuous side walls 38 extending from the foot to the printing-face. The arrangement may be applied to a strip-casting mould of the kind described in Specification 7202/15, in which the ends of the mould cavity are formed by the mould-blade 35<1> and the previously cast product 37.
