Doors; air, supplying for combustion.-A stove front is fitted with outer and inner hinged firedoors 1, 2 and a hinged damper door 3; air, entering through the latter, passes upwardly into a hollow door-frame d from which it enters, through apertures b, the space between the doors 1, 2, being finally delivered to the firebox through perforations c in the inner door 2. The damper door 3 is provided with a handle 4 carrying a latch 5 which is adapted to bear against the inner face of the stove front and retain the door 3 in its closed position.
