Abstract

215,972. Ball, J. H. May 26, 1923. Closed solid - fuel stoves; dampers.-The stove is normally of the down-draught type but if the dampers 7, 9 be turned so that the flue 6 is closed and the flue 8 open it is converted into one of the up-draught type. Air enters by a regulating door 13 and passes either by holes 12 into the fire for a down draught or by the holes 12 and holes 14 and the firebars into the fire in the case of up-draught use.
