[Class 51 (i)] A fuel economiser for attachment to the inside of a furnace door comprises a metal chamber 10 communicating with an adjustable air inlet 14, outside the door, and provided with baffles 26 and outlets 18, 22, 24 for directing the heated air on to the fuel in the furnace.
