Ink-ribbon mechanism.-In an automatic feedreversal arrangement, spools t loose on a shaft k are driven alternately by means of a sleeve c which is moved axially to reverse the feed by means of bell-cranks a, b having forked ends for engaging flanges on the sleeve. The ink ribbon passes through slots in the bell-cranks and is provided at the ends with thickened parts for rocking the bell-cranks. The sleeve may be coupled to the spools alternately by means of one of two pins f adapted to enter one of a circular series of holes in discs d, e secured to the spools. The sleeve may be provided with a ratchet-wheel s co-operating with a driving-pawl. The discs may abut on a distance-sleeve g secured to the shaft.
