Microscopes. - Reflectors for opaque objects mounted between the object glass and the eyepiece are provided with two tilting adjustments at right-angles to each other and two sliding adjustments both at right-angles to the optical axis of the microscope. Various reflectors may be used and are attached to square rods c inserted through the hole b into a fitting d, pivoted about its axis by the handle f. The frame h carrying the fitting d is mounted on a grooved ring j sliding on the tube k. By this arrangement the two sliding and two turning movements can be given to the reflectors, which may be plane or curved.
