Sliding-jaw wrenches.-The sliding jaw 7, Fig. 3, has a toothed part 8 normally pressed by a spring 11 into engagement with a rack 5 on a bar 4 which is movable on the shank 1 of the fixed jaw 3 by means of a handle nut 16 engaging the threaded end 6 of the bar. Wrench-jaw attachments.-The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes also a removable attachment 20, Fig. 1 (Cancelled), for the jaw 3, secured in position by a rib 23 engaging a recess in the jaw and by a pivoted yoke 25 engaging a notch in the outer face of the jaw. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
