Framework.-A metal spar suitable for aircraft comprises top and bottom longitudinally corrugated strips 1, 1, straight longitudinally corrugated stiffneners 2, 2 at each side, diagonal side bracings 3, 3 and bridge pieces 4 attached to the end of the stiffeners and adapted to receive ribs 5. Each diagonal side bracing may be in one piece.
