313,435. Dornier Metallbauten Ges., and Dornier, C. June 11, 1928, [Convention date]. Floats and hydrovanes, arrangement of.-The side fins or floats of a boat seaplane are constructed so that their undersurfaces blend into the sides of the hull in a concave curve b. The upper surfaces d may be similarly curved or, alternatively. one or both of the surfaces may be constructed so as to follow a substantially parabolic curve in cross-section. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 4634/14 and 157,267.
