Dandy rolls. - In order that the dandy roll cover e carrying the watermark may be easily changed, the body of the dandy roll is formed as an inflatable cylinder c, held on a spindle a by collars d and fitted with a valve g suitable for use with a pneumatic tyre pump. Ribs f are formed on the cylinder, the spaces therebetween receiving the water expressed from the paper pulp when the roll is in operation.
