Abstract
223,570. Deneef, G. P., and Boisson, M. J. A. Oct. 15, 1923, [Convention date]. Order apparatus. -A signalling apparatus for road vehicles comprises two pointers C, C' pivoted in a casing G and adapted to be actuated by electromagnets A, A' which may be operated together or independently to raise both or one or other of the pointers into a horizontal signalling position. Lamps L<1>, L<2> connected in parallel with the electromagnets A, A' respectively illuminate the corresponding pointers when the latter are raised. When both pointers are raised to signal " stop the circuit of a lamp L<3> is completed through links D, D<1> of the magnet plungers B, B<1> and blade contacts E, E<1>, to illuminate a transparent sign which is carried on the front of the casing.
