Abstract

203,737. Harriss, J. A. May 10, 1922. Illuminated stencil and transparency indicators.-In vehicle signalling apparatus of the type comprising electric lamps mounted behind colourec lenses in a casing, the casing 6 is divided into three compartments by a reflector 13. The lamps 10 are connected to push switches 12, which may be operated simultaneously or selectively. The lens 14 acts as a caution signal and is of red glass, part of which is rendered opaque to provide a red cross. The lenses 15, 16 are each provided with a green cross and an opaque direction arrow. An electric buzzer 17 is connected in the circuit of the lamp which illuminates the lens 14. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 20870/14, [Class 118 (ii), Signals].
