Abstract

220,417. Ingoldby, M. K. June 22, 1923. Cam - actuated pumps; revolving - cylinder pumps.-In a pump or motor of the kind having the cylinders disposed parallel to and concentrically around the axis of rotation, and in which the cylinder body A<1> may have a slight rocking movement on the shaft A to adjust it to the valve plate A<2>, a number of plungers B<x> are interposed between the actuating member C and the pistons A<x>. The plungers are in loose contact with the outer ends of the pistons and slide in a member B rigidly mounted on the shaft A. They may be of slightly smaller diameter than the pistons and may be ball-ended to engage slippers C' carried by the actuating member C.
