Abstract

220,182. Bourdereau, A. Sept. 13, 1923. Focusing devices. - A kinematograph camera is provided with a fixed eye lens 8, and the camera lens 4 and a sighting lens 9 are mounted on a sliding panel 5 so that either of them may be brought into axial alignment with the lens 8. A ground glass, screen, prism, or the like may be provided in conjunction with the lens 8, and the panel 5 may have a springy stop-member 7 which engages recesses to position the panel. The camera is focused with the lenses 8 and 4 in alignment, and the lenses 8 and 9 enable the subject being photographed to be observed during operation of the camera.
